Are you looking for the perfect recipe this holiday season? Kernel Season's has everything you need! We were able to try their whole line of seasonings, popcorn, their different types of butter (spray and powder) and their chocolate and caramel drizzle brittles.
We have a tradition in our family; the night before Christmas we let the children open one package. It is their Night Before Christmas Box. It includes popcorn, pjs, hot cocoa, Christmas book and movie and marshmallows. We read and watch a movie with the kids all Christmas themed and spend the night before Christmas as a family!. Kernel Seasson's has the perfect night before Christmas popcorn.
I always like to whip up something special for the kids to snack on when watching their movie and reading to them. This year I am making. I found this recipe on the Taste of Home website here. This is Christmas Popcorn it is super easy and anyone can make it!
CHRISTMAS POPCORN RECIPE
Ingredients
- 1 package (3.3 ounces) butter-flavored Kernel Season's popcorn
- 1 cup white baking chips
- 1 cup red and green milk chocolate M&M's
- Christmas Colored Sprinkles
- 8 miniature candy canes, coarsely crushed
- 1/2 cup salted peanuts
Directions
- Cook popcorn according to package directions. Transfer to a large bowl. In a microwave, melt white baking chips; stir until smooth. Pour over popcorn and stir until coated. Add the M&M's, candy canes, sprinkles and peanuts.
- Immediately spread onto waxed paper; let stand until set. Store in an airtight container. Yield: 8 cups.
This will be a huge hit with the kids. Feel free to change it up a bit. I plan to drizzle some Chocolate Kernel Season's Drizzle Brittle on mine. Drizzle Brittle is my favorite Kernel Season's product right now!
