Angry Bird's MashEm's Review!

To my 3 and 5 year old there has been no better toy invented than Angry Birds. When I saw the new Angry Bird's MashEm's I knew we had to try these. My kids absolutely went wild. Not only are the MashEm's adorably cute, affordable and fun but they are so squishy they can't break or hurt anyone. You can send MashEm's flying all over your living room without worrying that someone will lose an eye or your favorite picture frame will get busted.

We set our "battle ground" up and my son's always enjoy seeing who can build the highest wildest tower and then knock it over just to build it again and again. I also loved that the launcher was big enough for small hands. A Lot of the launchers are made so that you have to be extremely coordinated to operate. This launcher is very kid friendly and easy to handle. My children are still playing with their MashEm's out of all their Christmas presents this one was a favorite! Make sure to follow MashEm's on facebook and check out MashEm's website for all their newest characters.

FireFly Toothbrush and Toothpaste Review and Giveaway!

Firefly believes (like I do) that play is very important. Firefly makes play an integral part of their product development. This is so apparent in the design of their toothpaste and toothbrushes. The brushes have a 3 color lighting system; the lights are like a traffic light. Red, yellow and green; green is when your child starts brushing, yellow is when it is almost time to stop and red means they are done and have brushed long enough.

I like that it takes the question out of whether or not your child brushed long enough or well enough. My 3 and 5 year old love their Firefly brushes and get so into brushing. They love starting the timer and they brush non stop until it turns yellow then they get a little excited that its yellow and by that time they are done. The Firefly brushes also come in all the cool characters, Hello Kitty and Barbie for girls and Batman, Angry Birds, Spider-Man for boys also plain for anyone. The toothpaste is foam and is just as innovative as the Firefly brush. You squirt the foam directly into your child's mouth so their is no waste or mess. Mine were hesitant at first but then when they tried the Firefly paste they loved the Bubblegum Flavor. Overall I was so impressed by how well my kids loved Firefly Foam Toothpaste and Firefly brushes.

Firefly also wants you to have a chance to try one enter below to win a Barbie Firefly Brush and Foam Toothpaste.

Make sure you follow Firefly on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube. Also find all Firefly products on their site Fire Fly ToothBrush . Firefly recently held a facebook contest and gave away several sets so if you aren't following you can't win. Enter here

Caris Blog Tour

Mastyr Quinlan pursues the artist, Batya, with only one thing in mind but soon discovers that his desire for her is just the beginning of an earth-shattering affair… He doesn’t want a woman in his life…
Quinlan must keep Grochaire Realm safe from the enemy at all costs. As ruler of his realm, a woman has no permanent place in his day-to-day existence. But when his lust takes him to Batya’s bedroom, he soon discovers he’s deep into a powerful experience that threatens to blow his life apart. He wants Batya with a feverish desire that makes no sense in his logical, warrior world. But when an ancient fae attacks Batya’s gallery, he launches into protector mode and soon finds himself embroiled — body, soul, and fangs — with a woman he’d only meant to bed a couple of times. She has no desire to get involved with a mastyr vampire… Batya’s intense desire for Mastyr Quinlan stuns and baffles her. She doesn’t want to be involved with the vampire on any level. His sole focus of ruling Grochaire Realm has kept him from staying with one woman longer than the proud length of his fangs. Besides, she’s built a life for herself in Lebanon, Tennessee as an artist and healer to the realm ex-patriot community. But when the ancient fae attacks Quinlan at her gallery, then attempts to kidnap her assistant, Batya finds herself catapulted into an astonishing adventure. Even so, she works steadily to get back to her free-clinic and her painting, but how can she leave Quinlan behind when he’s commanded her like no other man ever has? 1st two books in the series below. Blurb for series: Enter a world of blood-starved mastyr vampires and the rare women who can satisfy their deepest needs…

For more information about Caris Roane: www.carisroane.com For more information about Valerie King: www.valerieking-romance.com EXCERPT #2 From Chapter One: Batya watches Mastyr Quinlan battling impossible odds just outside her art gallery. She needs to help him, but what can she do? Batya made her way to the lower gallery floor and hid behind one of the pillars. She couldn’t believe anything of what she was seeing and her heart beat so hard in her chest she thought it would explode. “What’s going on?” Batya turned toward the doorway that led to the back rooms and her assistant’s apartment. Lorelei had been her solid right-arm for two years now, helping her run both the gallery and the free-clinic. “I don’t know, but I think Mastyr Quinlan’s in trouble.” Lorelei drew close. She stood just slightly shorter than Batya as she stared out at the strange golden light and the massive wraith-pairs that looked ready to eat Quinlan alive. “He’ll never stand against her.” “Against who?” Batya stared at the light and could vaguely make out a woman’s shape. “She’s the one, the ancient fae.” “You mean the one that caused all those problems in Bergisson, at Sweet Gorge?” Lorelei nodded. “I know her.” Batya felt knocked sideways. “What the hell do you mean you know her?” “I…I wasn’t sure, but I am now. I can see her plainly. Can’t you?” “No. I see a female figure. That’s all.” Batya didn’t know what to do. She could sense Quinlan’s battle frequency gearing up, but she could also feel the other vampires, that they were super-charged. She understood then that Quinlan showed nothing but bravado, that he knew he was going to die. “We only want the woman.” The ancient fae’s voice sounded rough like the splintered edges of a chopped up tree trunk. “You can’t have her.” Quinlan’s deep voice roared along the street, easily breaching the gallery window. “I have to do something.” Batya spoke the words aloud, but without an intended end-point. “What can you do?” Lorelei asked. “We’re lost. All of us. No one can withstand the ancient fae. Her power ripples over my skin. Can’t you feel that? It almost burns.” Batya turned to Lorelei and saw that tears tracked her pale cheeks. She trembled head-to-foot. Fear reeked from her but not a sudden kind of panic, something that tasted metallic on the air like she’d lived with it for decades. She didn’t know much about Lorelei. She’d shown up a couple of years ago and stayed to help. Batya didn’t ask questions, one of her rules in the ex-pat community. Suddenly, the air outside the gallery lit up and streams of killing energy passed from Quinlan to the wraith-pairs hovering. Quinlan rose into the air as well, at least three feet off the ground. He looked magnificent, even from behind, because he held his arms wide and flung impossible arrays of energy at the enemy, something that would have destroyed a normal wraith-pair with the first blow. Yet the Invictus couples barely moved as they slowly advanced on him, pressing their joined energy hard at him in streams of brilliant blue light. The street was full of red and blue fireworks and killing flashes of light. The golden aura of the ancient fae grew brighter as the battle raged. Maybe she gained energy from the sight of destruction. Probably. The woman was evil. Batya heard Lorelei’s soft sobs, but her own inclination leaned far away from sadness or even pity in this moment. She’d grown up with the destruction that the Invictus pairs could inflict, which was one of the reasons she’d left Grochaire in the first place. She’d had enough of the war. The other reason began to forge a heavy vibration through her body, the part of her that was monumentally and powerfully fae. For a moment, she even wondered if she could pull this off, because she’d kept her power dormant for the past century. Yet with one man’s life hanging by a couple of blue streams of energy, she gathered her power. Quinlan belonged to her, not to these vile, over-sized, monstrous wraith-vampire Invictus pairs and he sure as hell didn’t belong to an ancient fae who even she could detect smelled like rotting seaweed. “Stay back, Lorelei. Don’t worry, this won’t hurt you…”

Old Timer Review and Giveaway!

Old Timer knives bring back so many memories for me. When this package came my thoughts went to my papa and my daddy. I can remember both carrying their trusted, weathered, worn and heavily used but time tested Old Timer Knives. My dad and grandpa carried folding Old Timers similar to this 104OT.
Old Timer is a brand that is known for durability and quality. The Old Timer 1520OT's we were able to try have been amazing knives. They feel awesome in your hands and are so easy to carry. Also, the sheath they come with is so nice and really adds a bit of flair to the knife and makes carrying your 1520OT simple and easy. The 1520OT easily cuts through trees and worked great for clearing our hunting path. The 1520OT is a great multi purpose multi function knife. I personally think it would be an wonderful knife for skinning deer as it just has that feel to it. I live in Eastern KY and it is muzzle loading season here. I was hoping to be able to try out the knife on a deer but alas the men in my life have failed me; no deer but lots of setting and waiting. We did spot several doe and one small buck. The buck was so small though it would have just been sad to have killed it. I don't hunt unless I will use the meat and we have 2 deer in the deep freeze so unless it was a big one I had no plans on shooting it. I loved being able to put my Old Timer 1520OT to the test it handled great and really impressed me I also would like to know how many of you would like to try one out. I have 2 1520OT'S to give away so that means 2 winners be sure you like Schrade, Old Timer and Uncle Henry Knives on facebook and tell them thank you if you want to see more great reviews and giveaways like this from Free For All! The Bath Cafe Review and Giveaway!

The Bath Cafe recently sent me this amazing package to review! I was able to try 2 amazing sugar scrub scents Dreamsicle, Lavendar Vanilla, 2 bath bomb pops in Sweet Thang, and Natural Body Oil in Citrus. I have never enjoyed a bath anymore than this one. I tried each product separately as I wanted to evaluate each. My favorite was the Citrus Natural Body Oil. The Body Oil has Argan Oil one of my favorite oils in it. I came up with so many uses for this, I put it in the tub and it made my skis so silky soft. I used it on my hair and it even perks up the dry ends I have. I also used it just as a natural body oil it smells so subtle and fresh and softens skin so great! I would have to say I enjoyed the Bath Bombs just as much as the sugar scrub the scents that the bath bombs and the sugar scrubs had are simply invigorating. The Bath Bomb Pops in Sweet Thang were the best scent I think I ever smelled in my life! Not to strong, not to weak just perfect. I loved the Dreamsicle and Lavander Vanilla Sugar Scrub as well. The Dreamsicle Sugar Scrub even had little sprinkles in the top. The Bath Cafe doesn't miss anything when making unique quality products. I have never seen a company take such care and delight in their products. To purchase from the Bath Cafe go to http://www.thebathcafe.com/ and make sure you are following them here on facebook as well https://www.facebook.com/bathcafe. The Bath Cafe is also giving one of my readers a chance to win! Enter via the rafflecopter below!

The holidays are a time for enjoyment fun and gift giving but here lately all I have seen is everyone worrying about money. Mainly not having enough! Several of my readers have commented that their children's classes are having parties and how on earth can they afford to buy 20 children's gifts. Shindigz that is how I do it every holiday! All my readers comment on how they could not believe I was able to buy so much for Christian's class for Halloween. Everything I purchased came from Shindigz. Now it is that time again; Christmas Parties!

Look what I was able to purchase at Shindigz; for Christian's class, Christian and Gavin and my 3 nephews (picture up top). They will all have gifts from us! Baby Buddy Review!

If you are a mom Baby Buddy is one of the first places you should start shopping for baby and children products! We had the oportunity to try the Baby's 1st Toothbrushes, Natural Bath Sponge and Up and Away Hammock in white. The product I enjoyed most was the Up Up and Away Hammock it was very sturdy easy to install and keeps all of the childrens toys within reach. Most people install these high on their wall I installed ours lower and that allowed the children to be able to reach and replace all of their toys and to keep the toys up off the floor and in one place. The Natural Sponge was my next pick! As everyone knows I love all natural products for my family! These sponges are actual ocean sponges and they are the perfect combination of soft yet rough enough to scour away all the dirt grime and dead skin we have. I will be purchasing 2 more of these as stocking stuffers for my kids! These last much longer than I expected also we have been using ours over a month now with little to no wear and tear! The Baby's 1st Toothbrush was by no means my last favorite I just don't get as excited about toothbrushes as I do other products. The Baby's 1st Toothbrush I was so surprised at how easily Gavin to took using the brush! He actually replaced his teether with the brush which is perfectly OK as the brush cleans his teeth and gums as he chews it! I loved all of the products we received and were able to review. I would reccomend all of these products please make sure you like Baby Buddy on facebook to keep up with their newest products and specials!

Everything Door Mat's Boot Tray Giveaway!

One of my favorite sponsors has been kind enough to offer another giveaway for my fans! Who wants to win a beautiful Everything Door Mat's Boot Tray! Just a recap here is my review: I am so excited to show you these before and after pictures. I was given the chance to review the Basketweave Boot Tray from Everything Door Mats I reviewed look how beautiful and a bargain at only $34.99.
Everything Door Mats is known for their beautiful door and welcome mats but you all know me I wanted to bring you something different and unique from Everything Door Mats. I absolutely loved the Basketweave Boot Tray it was very well made and super thick. It is manufactured to a high standard in an Antique copper finish. The basketweave design is so intricate and beautiful that it truly gives you a one of a kind look. I was delighted to read that it can also be used as a plant tray during those long winter months when your potted plants need to be brought indoors. As everyone knows I love to garden so this is great for me. The Basketweave Boot Tray is 34" long by 14" wide and 2" deep and is sized perfectly to hold just enough shoes and be beautiful in your hall or entry way. Here is what my entry looked like before I received my boot tray (please excuse the mess).
I am honestly embarrassed to say my hall lokked like this I was using a milk crate and a laundry/toy hamper to store my shoes and boots. Now look what a difference the Basketweave Boot Tray makes. Here is the after photo.
I want to thank Everything Door Mats for saving my entry way. I can be proud of how people see my house when they first walk in now and it is a true reflection of me and my style. I am so glad I got the chance to review the amazing Basketweave Boot Tray. I also want to take a second to show you my favorite mat the Butterfly Ballad MatMates™ Spring Non-slip Rubber Backed Doormat only $19.99. Look how beautiful it is!
