Rachel Ray Nutrish Dinner for Two Review and Giveaway!

Disclosure: I received the below mentioned products free to try in order to facilitate this review compensation was received in order to post this review all opinions are 100 percent my own.

If you treat your cat like we do they are just as important as any member of your family. Abby is my cat, when we got her she would fit in your hand and she was a rescue. She hitched a ride in a truck and hopped out at our house. We called them to pick her up and they came with a shotgun (we live in KY sadly that's not that unheard of here). I couldn't let them shoot such a precious baby so Abby became a member of the Bailey family 13 years ago.

Now sadly our Abby is getting older and much more picky about what she eats. When I was given the chance to try Rachel Ray Nutrish with Abby I really wasn't sure how she would react. We have purchased so many high dollar cat foods and she will only eat one brand. I was delighted when we opened the first cup and she couldn't get enough. I was even more ecstatic to see her gobble down the dry Nutrish Cat Food as well.
As part of this post we were asked to craft a recipe from Rachel Ray's Collection and have a meal with our pet. This was so fun as Abby enjoyed her meal as much as I did. Abby had the Rachel Ray Natural Wet Cat Food in Tuna Perfection and I tried Rachel Ray's Smoky Maple Glazed Salmon Supper.

Smoky Maple Glazed Salmon Supper
Ingredients
1 cup brown or white rice
1 bundle (2 cups) watercress or upland cress, stemmed and coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons EVOO Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
4 medium to large carrots or multi-colored farmer's market carrots, peeled and cut into 1/4-inch dice Salt and pepper
1/4 teaspoon all-natural liquid smoke
1/2 cup dark amber maple syrup
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
4 8-ounce salmon filets, skin removed
2 teaspoons Old Bay Seafood seasoning
2 cups frozen sweet peas
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup chopped chives
Preparation
Prepare brown or white rice to package directions. When rice is done, fluff with fork and combine with watercress leaves. When rice has been cooking 5 minutes, preheat broiler and heat a skillet over medium-high heat with EVOO, a turn of the pan. Add carrots to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Saut to tender-crisp, 6-7 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small pot, bring the liquid smoke, maple syrup and vinegar to a boil and reduce over high heat, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Season the salmon with salt, pepper and Old Bay. Heat remaining tablespoon EVOO, a turn of the pan, in a large, nonstick skillet and cook salmon top-side down 3-4 minutes. Flip and pour glaze over top of fish and place under broiler for 3 minutes to caramelize the fish. Add peas to carrots and heat through while fish is under broiler. Add butter and chives to veggies. When butter has melted, turn off heat. Serve salmon with peas and carrots, and rice with watercress alongside.

I am no Rachel Ray but I was very please with the recipe the Grilled Salmon was amazing and Abby loved her Nutrish Cat Food. To top it off Rachel Ray was nice enough to send Abby her own bag of ct nip, She has played and played with it. If you love your cat choose Nutish. Rachael Ray Nutrish for Cats makes cat nutrition a priority. 1. The natural wet cat food.
We have 3 cats and one of them can only eat wet food, her teeth are bad and she's really old.
    She's also very picky.
