Macy's Makes Back To School Shopping Fun For The Whole Family

As most of you know we recently moved from a very small area. When I say small I mean rural; our closest neighbors were only family and it was thirty minutes to even a gas station and almost forty five minutes to any shopping centers like Wal-Mart. One of the biggest perks of our move is we are within approximately ten minutes of one mail and about thirty minutes of another. I love being able to shop often and just sometimes browse. By the time we would drive to an actual mall it was two hours and a huge inconvenient trip with three kiddos in tow. With our new proximity to retail therapy me and Sierra take quite advantage of being able to browse the latest deals whenever we want. When shopping for back to school my first thought was Macy's they always have great deals and special offers.

1. Get the teacher-approved list. Many teachers send lists that specify the items they want their students to have. Buy school supplies that are non themed for even more savings. Often supplies are shared and your child may not even get to keep the supplies you bought the. Themed back packs and lunch bags/boxes are really the only themed item you can guarantee your child will keep. I always let mine pick out their own themed back pack and lunch bag.

Zoocchini offers some of the best, one of a kind, baby and toddler products I have seen. Zoocchini offers training pants, hooded bath towels, blankets, rattles mitts, and more. We are currently trying several products now. We just tried the training pants and now we are using the hooded bath towel and the backpack pals . My sons love sharks so we tried the shark hooded towel and back pack pals.

The boys love Sherman the Shark they tried the Sherman the Shark Backpack Pal and the Sherman the Shark Towel. The towels are great for children. They are cute and imaginative and make for fun even after the bath. Gavin wore his around the house forever. He said it was just like a blanket it was so soft. The Sherman the Shark Backpack is great for overnight trips and preschool. It holds just enough for an overnight trip and is perfect for little ones. It isn't too large and is perfect for little ones. The Sherman the Shark backpack pal is super durable and stitched very nicely. 123 Kids Fun App Review! #BacktoSchool

What apps do your kids play? As a mom of three I am learning more and more everyday about what apps are best for kids. I was recently introduced to 123 Kids Fun Alphabet a wonderful app from 123 Kids Fun. My sons have been playing this app for quite some time now and are really enjoying it. My boys are five and six and it is perfect for them.

123 Kids Fun Alphabet App teaches letters and small words to children. It uses fun kid friendly characters like the ant below to reinforce site words and aid in the teaching process. I would much rather my kids play an age appropriate app that teaches them in comparison to some of the apps that are targeted to kids that have really no meaning at all and no business being presented to children.

ABC Kids Fun Alphabet is perfect for on the go, long road trips, doctor's office visits when you are stuck in the waiting room or just down time at home. This is one of the apps my kids are excited to play because they call it the exception in our house. All learning apps approved by me do not count against my children's electronic time. They get one hour a day but in this case they can play as long as they want within reason as they are learning and having fun and the electronic device is the teacher. Apps like this make my job as a mommy that much easier.

My kids go back to school this week and this is the perfect app to get them ready and in the swing of things.
