Science Fun For The Budding Little Scientist

During the holidays I am always searching for the best gifts for my kids. Each one of my children has a different personality type, different likes and very few similar interests. When I find a gift that is perfect for both my boys I am always super excited especially when that gift is also an educational gift. I feel like so many times I have wasted money when I should have bought things we needed or not bought anything at all. With My First Lab I am confident that my kids will love their gift and I as a mom am super satisfied to see them utilizing a toy/learning tool.

My boys are newbies when it comes to microscopes they have some experience but very little. My First Lab has kids in mind with their different range of microscopes and products for different ages and capabilities.  I chose the Wow Scope for them it was perfect for their age an experience level and really just an all around great kids starter microscope. The Wow Scope also won the 2016 Toy Of The Year and I actually vote in Toy Of The Year every year and value the recommendations because the votes come from moms and dads just like me all over the world. The 2017 voting is actually going on right now!

The My First Lab WOW Scope is the best introductory stereo microscope for your little scientist who loves to explore. Everything you need is right within reach, whether you are in the backyard, the living room, on vacation, or the classroom! It includes real glass optics, interchangeable pairs of 10X and 25X eyepieces (creating 20X and 50X total magnification) and 5 different specimens on 2 sets of slides (one prepared one unprepared). The top and bottom duo-LED illumination can be used for all specimens, even prepared slides. It is light and portable making it great for the kids to take with them on the go! This is especially great since my boys have started boy-scouts this year.
My boys have enjoyed the Wow Scope so much we live in Eastern, KY and have so many great things to magnify. My kids have looked at everything from ants to tadpoles under their microscope. They love getting a magnified closer view of objects and seeing how they look close up. Christian nor Gavin realized that insects legs had multiple little I call them hairs and that was very interesting to them. I love being able to help them fix their slides and seeing what they are learning.

Make sure to stop by My First Lab for all of your holiday needs and be sure to follow them on social media below:

  5. Science is a part of STEM. I feel that it is much more important in today's world than years back. Years back we were not worried about climate change like we are today. Humanity is at risk and we need science to help the world see that this is a huge issue today!
