Review: I have boys and of course anytime boys see trucks its stops them in their tracks. My boys ages 6 and 4 really enjoyed Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory.  I think Nickelodeon has created another very successful DVD hero here Blaze blasts into availability on February 17th and is perfect for parents who homeschool. This DVD is packed full of stem and also great for parents like me who like to try and nudge our kids with an awesome DVD like Blaze and the Monster Machines: Blaze of Glory; into a learning direction with their entertainment. This DVD was a big hit we can't wait for more in the series.

CLARENCE: MYSTERY PINATA DVD Review!

Cartoon Network’s newest series Clarence comes to DVD TDDAY; February 10th in CLARENCE: MYSTERY PINATA! Clarence is an optimistic, spirited, very lovable boy who sees the best in all things and wants to try everything! WHEN I SAY EVERYTHING I MEAN EVERYTHING. In episode 9 Slumber Party Clarence goes to an all girls sleepover and he fits right in. Celebrate the best of childhood: epic dirt fights, awkward crushes, trampoline combat, sleepover pranks and secret tree forts all through the eyes of Clarence.
Clarence instantly became one of my sons favorite shows. I like the comedy it is funny but doesn't take it too far. Clarence is also a top rated show (as rated by Nielsen) in it's time slot across cable and broadcast networks among kids 6-11 and boys 6-14 ( this means 6 million kids and 4 million boys age 6-14 watched Clarence) .  My oldest son is 6 so this may have a lo to do with why he liked it. It seems to be very popular among kids his age.
I am particular about what the kids watch now a days. Clarence has a few moments that are for older children but I have seen nothing thus far to say that it is inappropriate. I think Clarence will be around our house for quite some time as he shares the same fun love for life my boys do!

Perfect #school lunch the #Bento #Dumbo from #Disney show your #Dineyside!

Oh how I wish that I could pack my sons lunch at school but they won't let us. They say when they are that little it is best they all eat the exact same thing. They have many good reasons but it still really stinks if you ask me! I am one of those moms who dreamed of packing the perfect lunches for her kids. But now in a way I am glad we don't to though because it saves us a lot, makes Christian eat a healthy meal (the school food is pretty healthy) and made him eat a better variety of food. All in all it is just one of those things. But for the moms that do get to pack great lunches check this out! I love it! Show your #disneyside! I love everything Disney and think this would be the perfect surprise lunch for a little one! Or even a teen!

DUMBO BENTO LUNCH

Dumbo is just bread his ears are decorated with a little jelly, his mouth is a lovely strawberry and his eyes are cheese that you ca draw in eyes with a little bit of food coloring water and powdered sugar mixed together until easily paintable. The body is different types of cheese cut out and the background is just grapes and strawberries.

Baby Jack and Co. ABC Lovey Review!

Sierra is wiggling her way onto the blog again she just tried Baby Jack and Co. ABC 123 Lovey. Sierra chews so much so I was happy to see her getting her hands out of her mouth and holding on to her blanket. She gets a hold of her yellow ring on the side of her lovey and chews and grins and giggles. It keeps her clothes fro ending up with drool on them also because she is chewing her blankie. I am just glad Baby Jack and Co. Lovey's wash well. I just put hers in on the gentle cycle and viola back to clean.

The designs are perfect for stimulating a little one. The primary colors are all represented. I also love that she is already seeing abc's and 123's I know it probably doesn't mean she will remember or is even taking the letters in but you gotta start somewhere. Right?

Valentine's Recipes for #Kids!

With Valentine's Day coming I wanted to share this great article I read on Parents.com. That is my absolute favorite site for advice on any and everything kids and babies!

French Toast

Kids can help: Stir egg mixture, dip bread and cut hearts.

• Oatmeal bread
• Egg
• Skim milk
• Maple syrup
• Strawberries 

1. Beat an egg, using a fork, in a medium, low bowl.  Add about ¾ cup milk per each egg used.  Add a teaspoon of maple syrup and stir well.
2. Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out heart shapes from the center of bread slices. 
3. Dip all bread pieces into egg mixture and set onto pancake griddle or large skillet set on medium heat.  Brown lightly on both sides.
4. Garnish with cut strawberries and maple syrup.

and this recipe my friends is what I will be making me and the kids in the morning in my new Ninja Blender I can not wait to try it and tell you guys about it! Doesn't this look fun, easy and tasty!

Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients:

8 strawberries, hulled
1/2 cup skim milk
12 cup plain yogurt
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 teapoons vanilla extract
6 ice cubes crushed
red string candy such as Twizzlers, Red Vines etc for garnish

DIRECTIONS: In a blender combine strawberries, milk, yogurt, sugar and vanilla. Toss in the ice. Blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into glasses and serve.

Serves 2

I love smoothies and am so excited to see what I can blend up in my Ninja Blender! I can't wait to show you guys how this turns out tommorrow

Check out my "crazy hair" stying on my very own Jewel Sparkles Crazy Hair Doll (pictured above). This is a simple style you can make yourself. First separate your Jewel Sparkles dolls hair in 2 section on each side part down the center. Braid hair into two pig tails one on each side. Then just twist your braids I a circle and pin the hair with one of the hair bows included repeat for side 2. After you finish your style polish your look by adding some of your included fluorescent green hair extensions and leave hair a little twirly curl hanging down. You can easily make that curl with your included plastic curling tool. Just wrap green piece around your curling iron and then slide off easily keeping the curls shape. Crazy Hair Dolls are perfect for sleep overs give the kids something to do let them play hairstylist. When I was little that would have made my day getting to fix a dolls hair with my friends from gradeschool. That rocked so I know little girls now will love this!
