Margaret "Unsinkable Molly" Brown
OPENS, Friday, January 17th, 2014

By the time Margaret Tobin Brown boarded Titanic at Cherbourg, France, she had already made a significant impact in the world. She and her daughter Helen, who was a student at the Sorbonne, had been traveling throughout Europe and were staying with the John Jacob Astor party in Cairo, Egypt, when Margaret received word that her first grandchild, Lawrence Palmer Brown, Jr., was ill. She decided to leave for New York immediately and boarded Titanic on April 10, 1912.

Want to know the rest of the story? Beginning Friday, January 17, 2014, Board the Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge, TN and discover an entire gallery devoted to the "Unsinkable Molly Brown."

  1. I would love to visit and see the sites on the Titanic ship. What an experience to see what it is all about. I did not know that they had this place. Great place to take the kids and teach them about what happened.
