Oriental Trading Easter Fun Review!

Spring is here and so is the fun! Check out everything Oriental Trading Company has in store for you this Easter. One of our favorite holidays in my family is Easter so we go all out every year for Easter. I love watching the kids scurrying around trying to find those eggs filled with surprises. There is nothing like seeing their face light up when they find a golden or surprise egg. My kids are expert egg hunters they have been lucky enough to come home every year from our local egg hunts with either a bycicle win from a surprise egg or a large nice toy from a surprise egg. It makes it fun for them because they aways go egg hunting with their cousins so there is a bit of competition to see who gets the most or if anyone wins an extra special big prize. Oriental Trading is always our first stop for everything Easter!
Our children's school always lets them have the funnest little Easter classroom parties. My kids really enoy the classroom Easter party and egg hunt. Each child brings enough filled eggs for the class and a special snack or treat. This year my kids chose the bubble bottle filled plastic Easter eggs. Each set includes one dozen. They come in an assortment of bright colors and are filled with a little bottle of bubbles. They are very affordable and on sale now for $4.98! The kids really enjoy these it gives them something to play outside with after the big hunt!
Instead of taking a snack or treat my kids like to make treat bags for their classrooms. It is a little more costly but worth it. The kids love them and think they are getting an extra special treat when each bag costs a little over two dollars to make. This year we choose Easter Cellophane Bag Assortment. They are smaller bags but you get 36 for only $4.99 and they still have plenty of room for treats and toys. We filled up the bags this year with candy and toys. The candies we chose were Haribo Happy Hoppers Gummy Candy, the traditional Easter Egg Chocolate Candies and Marshmallow Bunny Tails Candy. These candies are all priced very affordably, come in large quantities and are individually wrapped. You have to consider all of these things when making treat bags for two classrooms.
The toys that go in the treat bags are always my kids favorite. They love picking what to put in their classmates bags. This year we chose the Colorful Baby Chicks, my personal favorite for price and quality the Sticky Bunnies, Easter Spin Tops, and these super neat Watch It Grow Easter Eggs.
The Watch It Grow Easter Eggs and the Sticky Bunnies I thought were really great for the price and quantity and I would recommend them to parents for Easter Basket stuffers or for anyone making treat bags or filling eggs for a large quantity of kids. The kids loved playing with the sticky bunnies over and over. The watch it grow eggs they really enjoyed growing and displaying. We actually ended u making Easter snow globes out of our grow eggs after they were pretty big. We just used a jar, glitter and I glued the top on securely for the kids with a glue gun. They actually kept growing even more after we made snow globes out of them. These little things get really big!
